Small Change Big Difference actie van Hilton hotels voor Pallieter.
Dit is een wereldwijde actie van de Hilton foundation waarvan de opbrengst in Nederland (van 3 Hilton hotels) naar Pallieter gaat. Bij elke nota wordt 1 euro extra gerekend voor het goede doel - uiteraard met toestemming van de Hilton gast. De aktie loopt van 1 oktober t/m 31 december 2011.

YOU CAN MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE TO THE LIVES OF YOUNG PEOPLE
Everyone deserves an opportunity to make the most of their talent and abilities. By participating in Small Change Big Difference campaign and choosing to give €1 when staying at a participating hotel our guests help us raise funds for vulnerable young people. The funds raised from the campaign in this hotel will go to the Pallieter Foundation, which is committed to making the lives of seriously and incurably ill children (and their parents) as agreeable as possible.
Small Change, Big Difference is an initiative of Hilton in the Community Foundation. Thanks to the generous support from Hilton Worldwide at least 90cent of every euro donated will go directly to charity – only printing and distribution costs are being deducted from the €1 donation and no administration or staff costs are being paid for with the donations. In the past through Small Change Big Difference and other fundraising activities we have supported many worthy causes in the Netherlands such as Stichting Spieren voor Spieren, KDC Nifterlake, Stichting Vrienden van het Sophia and Theater PePijn.
The campaign will run for three months, from 1st October until 31st December 2011. We inform guests about the campaign on check-in verbally and with the aid of colourful marketing materials. On check-out the €1 donation (per stay per room) will be presented to you on your draft bill however the donation is completely optional and the Foundation appreciates that not everyone wishes to participate. The optional €1 donation can be easily removed by advising Reception at check-out.
